Biography:

Jeffrey A. Houston, a McPherson native, received Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Kansas in 1991 and his law degree, with honors, in 1995.

While at the KU School of Law, Jeff served on the Kansas Law Review and was awarded membership into the Order of the Coif, an honor reserved to the top graduates of the law school class.

Jeff is a current and active member in the McPherson County and Kansas Bar Associations. He is a past president of the McPherson County Bar Association, Tax Law Section of the Kansas Bar Association and Kansas Association of Hospital Attorneys.

Jeff has served as City Attorney for McPherson, Kansas since 2007. Jeff is involved in numerous local organizations and is an active member of Countryside Covenant Church.

Jeff’s primary practice emphasis is business, corporate, local government, employment and estate planning and administration.
